Gaining Not Losing

This post has been on my mind since weighing in last week and gaining a small amount of weight. I figure that other people could benefit from hearing this (even if they have heard it before) because I know many of us are on some kind of fitness/weight loss journey. I started working out after a long break in April. I saw great results with my first workout program and decided to continue on to another workout program to get more fit. Let's take a second here to realize that I am not saying I am working out to get skinny. Because this isn't what I'm doing. I have come to hate that word and try not to use it. Getting fit is important to me because it increases my strength and endurance, which is extremely necessary when you have kiddos at home. But here's the deal: I'm not losing.
