I've Been Holding Back

Let me preface this blog by saying I have tried writing it about a gazillion times. And everytime I stop, delete everything and ignore the whole blog for a couple days. I posted about how I'm changing things in my life. And I'm really excited about that! But this blog is also going to be changing. I have been holding back posting blogs about budgets/finances for the most part. I think I've posted two or three in the time I've had this blog. There are a couple reasons for this. 1. I'm not certified for anything when it comes to finances. I have read a lot of books,  a ton of blogs and articles, and really worked through our own debt-free journey over the last few years. It doesn't make me an expert by any means, though. 2. There are tons of blogs/podcasts/websites out there that talk about budgets/finances. So why should I add on to that list that is growing every day (okay, probably more like every hour). 3. I'm still working through our debt-...

Changes....

If you have been keeping track of me on Facebook, you have seen some changes lately. And I apologize for how long this is going to be. It's been over a month since I've posted so there's a lot to type. :) First, I chopped a ton of my hair off and donated it to a great organization! This is something that I try to do every couple of years and something I have been talking about doing for months. The stars aligned when my husband had a random day of work and I had a coupon for a free haircut at a local salon school (don't worry I tipped the student very well to help her pay her tuition). I may even be going back for some fun color soon... And I've been working on changing up my wardrobe. If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE jeans and t-shirts. And while I'm super comfortable in them, I realized a couple months ago that I really wanted to make my closet a little more sophisticated/put together.
